Well water at a family home in Lamai stained tiles orange and furred up kettles within weeks — classic iron and hardness for that side of Samui. We tested the water, then fitted an iron oxidation stage ahead of a softener and a final carbon polish. The water now meets household standard straight from the tap, and the staining has stopped.
